A traditional Tuscan restaurant with a focus on celebrating its local Lucca cuisine
Buca di Sant'Antonio, a family-run restaurant that marries its traditional Italian ambiance with its cuisine. Our head of design's favorite spot, this is one of Lucca’s oldest restaurants, located just a stone’s throw from Piazza San Michele in the heart of the beautiful historic centre. The main courses here, which specialise in traditional Tuscan cuisine, are almost entirely composed of meat dishes. Owners, Franco Barbieri and Giuliano Pacini have continued to make it one of the most distinctive places to eat in the area. Buca di Sant'Antonio is definitely worth a visit, but make sure to make a reservation before hand.
