The UTMB, possibly the biggest event of the year, attracts 7000 runners (and their support teams) worldwide to compete in five races of varying distances.
The UTMB is the longest, covering nearly 170km with 10,000m of ascent and passing through three countries. This event lasts a week, with different races taking place on different days and runners starting and finishing in Chamonix town centre all week.
