For father–daughter duo Megan and Mark, holidays with August began as a way to carve out more quality time together. What started as an opportunity to enjoy five beautiful homes across Europe soon evolved into something even more special, discovering a shared love for golf. From trips with friends to learning the sport side by side as a family, the variety of experiences made possible by their August homes has brought a new dimension to their time away.In this video interview, filmed during a day on the golf course, Megan and Mark share how August has deepened their family connections and opened the door to new experiences together.

Last year, some friends of ours, had rented an Airbnb house in Palma for a lot of money. We offered to let them use our August Mallorca home for a week after their rental and they came back absolutely thrilled. They said that our house was breathtaking and, unlike their Airbnb, it genuinely felt like a home...even though it’s not a personal home, it felt warm, lived-in, and perfectly prepared, which they said you just can’t get in a typical vacation rental.

The beauty for us is that it just feels like a second home. You don’t feel like someone else has been there, you arrive and it’s in perfect condition, so from day one you can relax.
