The villa is only a seven-minute drive from the medieval village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup. Conveniently situated between Cannes and Nice, this hilltop village is known for its breathtaking views, the tranquility of its charming narrow streets and its arts and crafts scene. A group of around 40 artisans, all of whom live in the village, group together and contribute to the economy of the population. The village is known as Violet Village, thanks to the flowers found in its surrounding fields and celebrated in a spring festival. A must-try is the violet ice-cream – an ideal treat on a hot summer day. Les Hautes Valettes is a year-round destination, where you will easily feel like a local. The food market is the weekly rendezvous for the villagers and is an opportunity to enjoy a coffee on the square while stocking up on local fresh produce for the rest of the week.
