The renovation process of this home took place over the course of 4 months and the August design team had a true vision to implement a meticulous design, that is carefully considered for high-quality 21st-century living.

The home was reimagined using local yet modern materials for its colouring and furnishings, while keeping the integrity of its charming original features.

Prior to the renovations, the ground floor had three reception rooms each with its own character and views of the garden at the front and woodland behind.

The August renovation team aimed to maximise the space for a fully functional living environment - the reception rooms on the ground floor were under-utilised and the kitchen occupied the largest space. By redefining the space the team created room for four bedrooms, along with a cosy and functional reception room, kitchen and a dining area.

Bedrooms

On the ground floor what was previously the living room has been transformed into a master bedroom, complete with an ensuite and log burner.

Kitchen

The August design team relocated the kitchen to the domain that was previously used as a dining room, creating a compact but fully functional space. From the kitchen you will be led out onto an outdoor dining area for use when weather allows. A classic palette of green and white has been added for freshness and depth to the kitchen.

Living room

The living room has been moved into the space that was once occupied by the kitchen - which is the largest reception room. We've added a log burner into this room, including cosy window seats overlooking the outdoor terrace.

Outdoor area

We’ve utilised the outdoor space by creating spots for all seasons and uses. You can enjoy the home's outdoor area for social gatherings with friends and family, peaceful solitude meditation, or to eat a delicious meal.
