The Destination

Sóller is nestled in the magnificent valley of Serra de Tramuntana mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also known as the ‘Valley of Oranges’ forming the backbone of the largest island of the Balearics, Mallorca. The area is full of delicious citrus fruit farms and you can grab a fresh locally squeezed juice as you stroll to your August home, or fresh from the orange and lemon trees in the garden. The area is a paradise for foodies, hikers and nature lovers thanks to its desirable northwest location.

Sóller is a town and municipality near the north west coast of Mallorca, only 3 km inland from the Port de Sóller, in a large, bowl-shaped valley that also includes the village of Fornalutx and the hamlets of Biniaraix and Binibass. The Sant Bartomeu church, a valley landmark dominates the Plaza de la Constitución. You'll find yourself admiring this landmark every time you walk past it. Take a look around the Plaza de la Constitución, is Sóllers beating heart, lined with numerous bars and cafes.

The Home

The expansive entrance hall blows you away immediately with its striking double-height ceiling, sweeping staircase and original floor tiles. From here, the heart of your home directly accesses dining and kitchen areas, the study, direct access to your garden and a concealed and highly coveted wine cellar.

Thanks to the generous length of the garden, you and your family get to enjoy sunshine all year round, but fear not you won't get hot as there is a fitted, retractable canopy for those midsummer lunches.

In the colder evenings, cosy up in your indoor dining room around the log burner.

Ascend the winding staircase you will find the first three bedrooms, one en-suite and the family bathroom showcasing locally sourced materials that create a harmonic environment for your evening and morning routine. From the larger bedroom on the first floor, you will find a large terrace, perfect for your morning coffee or a glass of wine as the sun goes down. From this advantage point, admire the staggering landscape of Sóller.

Up again to the top floor you will find a self-contained suite with a bedroom, living and mini kitchenette area, leading to the highest terrace in this August house with a huge picture window.
