Having been able to see how well August worked for David and Michele gave us the confidence to buy ourselves.

What really appealed to me about the August model was the concept of having access to five homes in different destinations, without the burden of full ownership and maintenance.

The beauty for us is that it just feels like a second home. You don’t feel like someone else has been there, you arrive and it’s in perfect condition, so from day one you can relax.

It really does give us the best of both worlds, the convenience of city stays and the escape of the more spacious villa homes.

I loved the thought of our boys growing up with these homes, becoming familiar with them, feeling independent there, and eventually even being able to bring their own families in the future. It felt like creating a thread of continuity through their childhood.

I started looking for apartments in Rome, and then I found August...

We just thought this is almost too good to be true ... but we can assure you it's not.

You really feel that it’s your place. You feel you’ll be back time and time again, that you can go to the same restaurants again and do the same walks. Or indeed do the things that you've perhaps missed on that trip.

We made the decision to become August Homeowners after exploring Europe in search of a boat. Surprisingly, instead of finding a boat, we discovered August.

Walking is fabulous here. And you can walk from here to some amazing pubs or use that as a base. I cycle the area, which is also fabulous. Then there is are place like Daylesford Farm, we've had some lovely trips there. We haven't even scratched the surface.

Chris and Tamara were one of the first people joining our latest Collection, Pied à Terre.

It was an easy decision to upgrade to the Premium Collection - we joined August so we could take those much-needed breaks every 4-6 weeks, effectively 'forcing' us to go away in between work! It's a great excuse, and we cannot wait to start enjoying life even more with impressive Premium homes!

The August model allows flexibility as our family grows. We went ahead with the Signature Collection because we want to share them with our friends and family. With two teenage girls, it's important there's enough space for them to do their own thing.

We really appreciate that August has taken the time to ensure luxurious and functional interiors. It's great that they can deal with all the things we don't want to deal with, and we both agree that the August homes, interiors and locations are all tick, tick, tick!!!

It's been difficult finding the perfect second home, until we came across August. Now we have five great homes that meet all our criteria!

The overall experience exceeded our expectations, from the locations to the houses to the decorations. It was truly perfect! From the beginning everything has been first-class and it's been so great!

We have so much flexibility in the way we can holiday now and joining a co-ownership has added to our lifestyle!
